Howell Education Foundation
www.howelleducationfoundation.org/index.html
The Howell Education Foundation's goal is to encourage students to fulfill their dreams and reach their full potential. Each year, the Foundation will sponsor field trips, science camps, scholarships, incentive and recognition programs, and more - all designed to enhance each student's classroom learning with unique educational opportunities. Plus, the Foundation is rapidly developing relationships with local businesses for on-site student visits, special presentations, and hands-on learning. These special opportunities are designed to engage the imaginations and curiosity of students to foster a life-long desire to learn, and expose them to career choices. To avoid the necessity of yearly fund raising, the Foundation will rely on an endowment fund. Our goal is to grow the fund into a $2,000,000 endowment, using the interest it generates to fund future educational programs. This approach provides financial backing for the development of new educational opportunities, and allows us to maintain current programs. However, in order for this plan to work, we need to grow the fund at a rate of $250,000 per year to reach our long term goal. In other words, we need your help to make this plan successful... To get involved, or to make a donation, please call the Howell Education Foundation today at (517) 579-8555 and make your contribution to our children's future today!
