2009 Alumni Baseball Game
The 3rd annual fundraiser for the Howell Baseball program and
the Alumni Scholarship Fund tool place on Saturday, July 18 at the
varsity baseball field in Howell. Player's donation is $40 (each player receives
a hat and jersey to keep)
This year's event honored the 1910 State Championship team by wearing
shirts that mimic the original jerseys.

Howell Junior Baseball organizer and long-time youth sports coach Jess Mack threw out the first pitch to his son Jon.
Also, former varsity coach Ted Klontz (who was responsible for the
resurgence of Howell Baseball back in the mid 1970s) traveled from his
home in Tennessee.
Several alums flew in for the event: Gary Merians and
Jon Mack from Florida, Phil Milner from South Carolina, Brad Robinson from
Virginia, and Mike Brown from Ohio. The Press-Argus, WHMI and Hub TV provided support for the event.
Anyone who played varsity baseball for Howell is encouraged to sign up for the 2010 game and me, Rich
Robinson, at
